Review by hotel critic
As a landscape photographer, my choice of accommodation for a recent corporate retreat was crucial, and the Birks excelled in many aspects. the central location, just a stone's throw from the acclaimed Palais des Congrès, was key for our business activities. the efficient free Wi-Fi in public areas and the well-equipped room with a flat-screen TV made remote work seamless. the 24-hour security and reception instilled a sense of safety and convenience for our late-night ventures. In terms of amenities, the bar/lounge provided a relaxed setting for informal meetings, and the on-site restaurant offered a diverse menu for client dinners. A welcome drink added a nice touch, enhancing our networking experience. For relaxation after a long day, the fitness center and massage options were rejuvenating. the lack of in-room breakfast was a drawback for early morning work sessions, and the absence of cots may inconvenience traveling colleagues with infants. Despite these, the Birks stands out as a suitable choice for business travelers seeking a well-rounded retreat in Montreal.
